Who am I?
My first answer would most likely be: "An insane ninja coding monkey", but my wife
is trying to beat that part out of me... well.. yea. I am a passionate man, with
the ability to develop and implement agile web applications in almost any setting
(I haven't done Moon implementations yet... hopefully that will come one day...).
bicnet was created, and is ran by Ryan Ternier, a software engineer living in Kamloops
British Columbia. Ryan has a passion for God, his Wife, music, programming, and
outside life. He was recently married July 2nd 2005.
I thrive in any environment where I am allowed to be me: A goof, who has fun at
what he does and does a darn good job at it. I love learning new tricks (no I am
not a dog, I am a man), new ways of doing things. Sometimes they're not even better
or more efficient, they're just newer. Knowledge and understanding are two of the
main parts of developing software, yes there's those comments and document things that
are in there too... but documents and comments don't make the wheels turn. I wonder
if anyone's found a new way of writing comments, besides hiring a secretary for
every developer.
I am currently an Applications Developer at Visual Statement,
which is based in beautiful Kamloops, British Columbia.
